I took my Wrangler mudding today, finally! It’s completely covered and I am going to see my dad in another town on Friday. I’d like to leave the mud on my Jeep so he can see what I’ve been up to, but I wasn’t sure if the mud would damage my Jeeps paint if I leave it on for 4-5 days. Thanks for your help!

Answer:
You should have thought of this before you went mudding. Take pictures and show him, but wash it. Got to one of the hand wash places, or use a nozzle attachment on your water hose. Don;t scrub it until you get as much mud off the paint as possible. It won’t noticeably damage your paint the first time, but if you leave it on it might. Wax it liberally before you go out again. It’s a great look for a Jeep, but the scratches add up over time. The wax will help to protect it. I say wash it now because it’ll be harder to do without scrubbing later, and the scrubbing will hurt the paint. Even scratches in the clear coat have big impacts on appearance. The dried on mud will be harder to get off than fresh mud, and that means there’s a bigger chance of big ugly scratches. Congrats on mudding for the first time in it! Next time, though, I suggest you wax it to give the paint a little extra protection. =)
