Safe to buy a Pontiac?

I want a Pontiac Torrent, but hubby is saying no because Pontiac an GM are pretty much dead. Is he blowing smoke? If not, what happens to all the people who own Pontiac’s already? Will parts cost out the a*$ now?

let me tell you something and you need to listen and believe it if GM dies so is the entire country…and that is not happening GM is making a CHANGE they are getting rid of redundant departments so if you buy Pontiac, GM will service it until the car never ever runs again somewhere up around 200,000 miles so go buy it they are not going anywhere GM that is….your safe…. people like spreading bad feelings around.. good luck smile
