Peugeot 5008 7 Seater People Carrier Detailed
Filed Under General
Peugeots old 7 seater car was massively popular, and now they have created a brand new 7 seater people carrier. The new 5008 completes their car line-up and they hope it will be able to take on their rival people carriers, the Vauxhall Zafira and Renault Scenic.
This new car that’s been announced features a range of storage saving devices, plus a Peugeot classic sleek design, it goes to show that not all 7 seater people carriers have to look like tanks.
The car is designed for space, and it allows you to flatten each of the back seats individually for a bit of extra space. Alternatively you can flatten then entire back row to give you a massive 2,506 litres of luggage space, almost enough room to swing a cat.
Awell as a huge boot space available, there are a series of underfloor boxes in the back of the car for storage, aswell as a huge 10.5 litre cool box within the centre console.
There will be a number of engine to choose from when buying the new 5008 people carrier. Peugeot offer one of 2 different 1.6 litre petrol engines, managing either 156bhp or 120bhp. There’s also a series of diesel engines, a 1.6 litre 110bhp or you can get one of two 2 litre engines that carry 150bhp or 163bhp.
The new Peugeot 5008 will be put on show in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 5008 is due for release at the beginnging of 2010 at a £15,000 price tag. If you are turned off by the price, buying your own one isn’t the only option that will be available on the release.
Car leasing tends to be an option that the consumer generally forgets about, even though you often get cheaper prices. There are a huge number of companies that offer every make from Citroen leasing to Peugeot leasing, all of which can generally work out cheaper than buying your own car which will simply lose value over years.
