For about the last two years, my Jeep Grand Cherokee (95) has lost the ability to keep it’s trunk hatch open. Whenever I let go, it just comes crashing down on me. After some research, I’ve learned that my gas shocks have lost pressure and should be replace; however, I have no idea how to replace them, or where to find the replacement parts. In addition, I don’t have many tools. Would it be easier for me to buy the parts at a store and do it myself, or should I go and just get it done at a car place? If I could do it myself, where would I find these parts? I can’t seem to locate them online.

Answer:
dont realy need to know much pretty easy cant mess up unless you knock stick out thats holding up door and it hits you in head really might be two bolts and some just snap on cost is somewhat cheap can get most any parts store not a big deal really easy
