Yes it is…it is a good bike but they are kind of expensive…you also have to make sure there is a dealer near by that can service your bike…but over all it is a good starter bike…people always say start with a 600 but the truth of the matter is that regardless of what bike you get it is only going to do what your right hand tells it to do…i have a R6 and my last bike was a zx6r and i have been 167 mph on it…have fun get frame sliders and full coverage insurance…peace
