ive spent a fortune trying to build my low-rider and have bought 3 long-blocks from 2 different places and they have all gone bad. block #3 blew up today. i paid to have the motors installed, and did not buy cheap rebuilt engines. im starting to think the car is possessed by the devil or something

What are you putting in it for an engine? Are you over-reving it? What are you using for an oil pump? A friend of mine raced and used Ford engines. He kept blowing them up. He discovered the high volume oil pump would drain the oil out of the pan faster than it would drain back. All of his oil would end up in the valve covers. The pump would run dry and…Boom! He got rid of the high volume pump, and … no more problem.
