ok i have a 2001 jeep wrangler tj and i go offroading or mudding often i keep it in good maintanace but it is old and i bought it used (mistake!!) but anyway i had taken it through a water puddle which was quite large and suck the jeep up to the bottom of the door frame as i was leaving my jeep over heated suddenly and then cooled of after that i was driving and the jeep wanted to stop as if i was going 40 mph in 1st gear (not a manual) then that problem went away and now my engine sounds much deeper sort of like its blowing alot of air if anyone can tell me what it may be that would be greatly appreciated thank you

When you went thru the water , did any get any water up in the engine from the exhaust pipe ? Most likely you did if the water was up to the bottom of the doors. Have you mechanic check it out , before you have no vehicle at all. Good Luck
