I am 17 years old and I live in Florida. I have never taken any driving classes nor do I hold a permit of any kind. I am moving out soon and getting emancipated. Is there anyway I can get my Drivers License or at least my Intermediate License without having to hold a license for a year?
Answer:
Yes. I think it is relatively the same in every state but you will have to get a permit first. They may expect you to get a physical also. That usually costs about $100. Then after you get the permit you will are going to have to have an adult driver with you in order to practice driving. You may need to have a responsible adult with you at the time you go to the dmv. Someone who can vouch for you. There may be certain laws that prohibit you from getting a license. Call your DMV and ask some questions. They may be rude but they deal with a lot of people and they will answer your questions.
