Radar Detector Car Dash and Windshield Mount

We have combined our heavy duty suction mount system with a mounting plate. The suction is rated to hold 20 pounds. Once it is attached to your windshield, it isn’t coming down unless you want it to by pressing on the suction release. The angle of the mounting plate can be adjusted up and down. Your device attaches to the mounting plate with a heavy duty strip which we provide. We also include a dash plate with double sided tape so that the suction can adhere to your dash.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CHECKLIST

1. Make sure body panel colours are not different.This usually means it’s been resprayed, which means an accident.

2. Check that all doors are in line with the others when you look down the length of the car.

3. Make sure there is no rust around the windows and on door seals.

4. Check the seats and dash for obvious signs of wear and cracking.

MECHANICAL INSPECTION

  1. A vehicle that has oil drips underneath is not a healthy car, avoid. A look under the hood will usually tell if the engine is clean/leaking oil or not
  2. Make sure all electronic gadgets inside the car work, radio, aircon and wipers, andcd shuttle come on when you open the doors. Electric mirrors and windows go up and come down again.Don’t assume that everything is OK, have a good look!
  3. Check the pads and ensure they should not have less than 5mm left on them.
  4. Air conditioning does it turn on and get cool.Aircon can be a real deal breaker, make sure that you can feel the car cool quite quickly take note and inform the dealer

* And then lastly, check that you have a spare wheel, wheel spanner and jack don’t forget the extra set of spare keys!
